XMCL Together Terms of Service

Effective date: August 14, 2026 · Version: T2-2026-08-14

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CI010, who operates the Services as an individual operator under the Voxelum and XMCL names ("XMCL Together", "we", "us"). They govern XMCL Together accounts and paid or hosted online services available through xmcl.app ("Services"). The open-source launcher remains subject to the license distributed with its source code.

By creating an XMCL Together account, purchasing account balance, subscribing to Together Home, or using a paid Service, you confirm that you can legally enter this agreement, have read these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and accept both. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.

1. Services

XMCL provides launcher-related online services, including account and billing functions, Together Home benefits, AI-assisted launcher features, and multiplayer signaling or TURN connectivity. These are digital services delivered over the internet. Features can depend on third-party infrastructure and may change as the project develops.

XMCL is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft or Mojang Studios. You must obtain Minecraft and third-party content lawfully and comply with their respective terms.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information and protect your devices, sessions, and connected accounts. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures. Notify us promptly through the channels in Section 15 if you suspect unauthorized use.

You may not sell, transfer, or share paid access in a way that defeats account, allowance, or security controls. We may require account verification before changing billing information, issuing a refund, or processing a data request.

3. Prices, taxes, and account balance

Prices, currency, included allowances, billing period, and applicable taxes are shown before checkout or subscription confirmation. Unless the checkout says otherwise, taxes are not included in the displayed base price and are added when legally required.

Waffo Pancake processes one-time purchases that add value to your XMCL account balance. Each checkout is a separate transaction authorized for the amount displayed. XMCL does not currently use Waffo to automatically recharge your payment card.

Account balance:

  • is a limited, non-transferable right to purchase eligible XMCL Services;
  • is not a bank account, stored-value card, cryptocurrency, or cash equivalent;
  • cannot be sold or transferred between accounts;
  • has no cash-redemption value except where required by law or through an approved refund;
  • may be corrected when a payment is reversed, refunded, duplicated, or fraudulent.

4. Together Home subscription

Together Home is currently offered as a monthly digital subscription. The current price and included AI and TURN allowances are shown before subscription. Included allowances reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.

By subscribing, you authorize XMCL to debit the displayed subscription price from your XMCL account balance at the beginning of each renewal period until you cancel. This is not authorization for XMCL or Waffo to charge your card automatically. If the balance is insufficient, the subscription enters payment-due status and paid benefits may pause. Adding sufficient balance can begin a new monthly period.

You may cancel renewal at any time through the account interface. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; access and remaining period allowances continue until then unless the account is suspended for cause.

5. AI and network allowances

Together Home can include metered AI usage and TURN traffic. The product interface describes current limits. AI allowance is measured using weighted prompt, cached-prompt, and completion-token usage. TURN allowance is measured from provider-reported network egress. Unused included allowance expires at the end of the billing period and has no cash value.

We may delay or reject a request when an allowance is exhausted, usage cannot be measured safely, or fraud or abuse is suspected. Provider measurements and our ledger control allowance settlement, subject to correction of demonstrated errors.

6. Payment processing

Payment-card data is entered directly into checkout operated by Waffo Pancake, our payment processor. We receive transaction identifiers, status, amount, currency, and signed payment events, but not full card numbers or card security codes.

Your bank statement descriptor is displayed during checkout or by Waffo. You are responsible for any foreign-exchange or issuer fees charged by your bank. A pending authorization is not necessarily a completed payment.

7. Refunds and payment disputes

Contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate. Include the XMCL account and transaction reference, but never send full card details or passwords.

Subject to mandatory consumer law:

  • duplicate or incorrect charges are refundable after verification;
  • an unused one-time balance purchase may be refunded if requested within 7 days of purchase;
  • consumed balance, a substantially used subscription period, and consumed AI or TURN allowance are generally non-refundable;
  • if we terminate a paid Service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will refund or credit the unused prepaid portion where reasonably measurable;
  • approved refunds are returned through the original payment channel when possible and can take additional time to appear after processing.

Refunds may reduce account balance or reverse benefits funded by the transaction. We may refuse abusive, fraudulent, or unsupported requests. Nothing here limits cancellation, cooling-off, refund, or warranty rights that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.

8. AI features

AI requests may be handled by third-party model providers, currently Agnes and DeepSeek. You grant XMCL a limited, non-exclusive permission to process and transmit your input solely to provide, secure, and meter the requested feature. XMCL does not use your input to train an XMCL model.

To the extent permitted by law and third-party rights, you may use output generated for you. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, unsafe, or outdated. Verify it before acting. It is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • violate law, payment-network rules, intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • upload or distribute malware, phishing content, stolen credentials, or content that exploits or sexualizes minors;
  • harass, defraud, impersonate, or deceive others;
  • attack, probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security, metering, access, or allowance controls except as permitted by an applicable open-source license or authorized security research;
  • use the Services to operate unauthorized commercial resale, account sharing, automated output harvesting, or competing model training;
  • use AI output as purported professional advice or as authentic human work in a deceptive or harmful context;
  • use multiplayer or hosted features to distribute unlawful content or disrupt other users or networks.

10. Third-party services and content

The Services rely on providers such as Waffo, Cloudflare, Microsoft Azure, Agnes, and DeepSeek and can link to Microsoft, Mojang, Modrinth, CurseForge, authentication servers, and community content. Their terms and availability also apply to your direct use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party content or outages outside our reasonable control.

11. Intellectual property

These Terms do not transfer ownership of XMCL trademarks, service infrastructure, or third-party content. Rights in open-source code are granted only under the applicable repository license. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the limited permissions needed to provide the Services.

12. Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access to protect the Services or users, investigate fraud or security incidents, comply with law, address non-payment, or respond to a material breach. We will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal when reasonably practical.

You may stop using the Services at any time, cancel renewal through the account interface, and request account deletion. Financial, security, dispute, and audit records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or accuracy of AI output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XMCL and its maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability arising from paid Services will not exceed the amount you paid to XMCL for those Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14. Changes and disputes

We may update these Terms as the Services change. Material changes will be posted at least 14 days before they take effect when reasonably possible or otherwise notified as required by law. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights that already accrued.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Applicable law and the courts with jurisdiction are determined by mandatory law and ordinary conflict-of-law rules; these Terms do not require private arbitration or waive a consumer's right to use an eligible court or regulator.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

15. Contact

Do not send payment-card details, passwords, access tokens, or other unnecessary sensitive information. We may request account or transaction verification.
